1. Introduction
This Guideline has been established to support the creative activities of our fans and to maintain an environment where they can enjoy them safely.
2. Basic Policy on Derivative Works
We welcome derivative works that use the characters or world settings of our works within the scope of personal hobby and non-commercial purposes.
We believe that the creative endeavors of our fans serve to expand the appeal of these works.
However, we may limit any expression that may be mistaken for official content or any use that significantly damages the brand image.
3. Our Requests Regarding Creative Endeavors
3-1. Respect the Characters and Original Works
Please refrain from depictions that violate laws or public order and morals, or that significantly damage the established character settings or personalities.
Please refrain from forms of expression that are defamatory or insulting toward the characters or worlds of the works.
3-2. Limitations on Excessively Sexual or Violent Expression
Please refrain from releasing content that includes sexual depictions involving underage characters and excessively violent or cruel depictions to the general public.
When distributing works at Doujinshi conventions and similar, please follow the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the host and give advance warning.
3-3. Use of Official Materials
Please refrain from reproducing, modifying, or redistributing the official illustrations, logos, game images, scripts, audio, music, or data etc. without express permission.
The posting of screenshots or play videos to social media, websites, or video sharing sites (including streaming) by individuals is allowed within the scope of this Content Guideline.
Note that when posting content that includes materials from the works of other companies produced in collaboration with this company, you must follow the content guideline of the other company as well.
3-4. Commercial Use
In principle, Doujin activities within the scope of individual enjoyment are freely allowed and welcomed.
The sale of goods with the intention of mass production or mass sale, and commercial activities by corporations, are prohibited.
Please refrain from commercial activities using official illustrations or logos.
4. Disclaimer and Miscellaneous
This Guideline is subject to change without notice.
We may request deletion when necessary when a creation or post that violates this Guideline is discovered.
5. In Closing
We recognize that derivative creative activities are an important culture that contribute to the development of the content.
This Guideline was prepared to respect that freedom of creation and to protect the rights of both the works and the users.
We ask for everyone’s understanding and cooperation to maintain a healthy environment for creation.
